Use this method to create a job.

Please Note:
Special conditions apply to the use of this method. The input file for this job will be automatically deleted after 7 days. The result files generated for this job will be removed 7 days after the job has finished processing.

Input Parameters:
ParameterDescription
ClientJobNumberClient defined job number.
ClientDescriptionClient defined job description.
ProcessRequestBatchMethodBatch Job Service.
ProcessRequestBatchMethodInputFieldsMapped data from the csv headers to DT's Input fields which is separated by a comma and in this format: DTField:CSVField. (e.g.AddressLine1:BUILDING_NAME,AddressLine2:ADD1).
FileNameFile to be utilized for the Batch Job process.
RequestIdOptional user value to assist in linking DtRequests with DtResponses.
RequestKeyRequired for user access verification. For client side script protect your Request Key by using the DataTools.Security.GenerateTemporaryRequestKey
DepartmentCodeOptional user value to allocate transaction usage by department. Limit of 50 unique Department codes per account.

Output Fields:

DtJobIdCreated DataTools Job Id.
ResultFileDecryptionKeyKey to decrypt the result file in case when the client decides that result file is encrypted.
ErrorMessageError Message during the creation of Job.

SOAP Envelope: The XML request is passed through a single parameter in the SOAP envelope <DtXmlRequest>. Where the development language requires the SOAP envelope contents to be defined manually, the additional step of encoding the Dt XML Request is required. The encoding required needs to transform "<" of the DtRequest to "&lt;" and ">" to "&gt;". See example below.
